A lot of the cars at the auction had their hoods popped. I figured it was so they could easily look in without someone needing to find the hood latch. Dunno.

Looks like they couldn't close the front hood (I watched the auction over the web, and couldn't believe they brought it out like that) - If it wouldn't close, two minutes with a wrench could have fixed it, and the car might have sold for an extra $30-40K ;-) No shots of the engine eh? Nice and shiny though - makes me think it's time to go wax my car!
